Prologue

Seraphina's ascension

Angel-1.webp

Seraphina stepped through the shimmering portal, leaving behind the mortal realm and ascending to a place beyond human comprehension. It was a world bathed in celestial light, where the very air whispered with the voices of a thousand angels. She found herself standing before the gates of Heaven, an awe-inspiring structure that seemed to stretch into eternity.

The pearly gates, as they were called, were a sight to behold. Made of a material unknown to mortal eyes, they gleamed with a radiant iridescence. Seraphina could feel the power emanating from them, a tangible force that pulsed with divine energy. The gate itself was adorned with intricate carvings, depicting scenes of love, compassion, and the triumph of good over evil.

But as Seraphina approached, her heart heavy with a burden not easily carried, the grandeur of the gates faded into the background. She was a being of kindness, compassion, and empathy, but these virtues were now tainted by the agony of loss. Her ex-lover, Lucifer, had taken their child, Mikael, and fled to the depths of the Earth, shrouded in darkness.

The pain of that betrayal cut deep, etching scars upon her soul. Seraphina's face bore the marks of her grief, a mix of sadness, anger, and determination etched into her features. The light that once radiated from her eyes now flickered with a haunting intensity, reflecting the storms that raged within.

But it wasn't just her personal anguish that troubled her. Earth itself was in peril, under the grip of a malevolent organization known as the Dark Order. They were puppet masters, pulling the strings of power from the shadows. Their insidious plans reached far beyond mortal comprehension, entangling themselves in the very fabric of society.

The Dark Order sought dominion over the world's food, energy, and media. They orchestrated wars, paid off politicians, and manipulated the media to serve their sinister purposes. Truth was twisted, dissent was silenced, and the population was held captive by their invisible chains. The depths of their evil knew no bounds.

Seraphina was not one for confrontation. She preferred to heal, to bring solace to those in need. But the divine forces had other plans for her. She had been chosen as the angel to face this looming threat. The weight of that responsibility pressed upon her, a burden that threatened to crush her fragile spirit.

As she stepped closer to the gates, a cold wind whispered through the celestial realm. Rumors had reached her ears—whispers suggesting that Vayne, the enigmatic leader of the Dark Order, was none other than Lucifer himself. The revelation hung in the air like a poisoned arrow, piercing Seraphina's heart with a mixture of dread and desperation.

She knew that the truth behind Vayne's identity would shape the course of her journey. It was a mystery that taunted her, tempting her to seek answers in the darkest corners of the universe. And so, with a heavy heart and resolve etched upon her face, Seraphina crossed the threshold of the pearly gates, prepared to face the challenges that awaited her.

Little did she know that her journey would take her to the very depths of Hell and back, testing her strength, her faith, and her very essence as an Earth Angel. The battles she would fight, the sacrifices she would make—they were but the opening salvos in a war that would shake both Heaven and Earth to their very foundations.

And so, with the scent of blood in the air and the echoes of forgotten prayers ringing in her ears, Seraphina embarked on her perilous quest. The fate of the world hung in the balance, and she would stop at nothing to protect the innocence that still thrived amidst the chaos. But as she ventured into the unknown, one question burned in her soul: would she be able to face the darkness without losing herself to its seductive embrace?

The stage was set, the battle lines drawn. Earth Angels would rise, and their wings would bear the weight of salvation or damnation. The journey had begun.
